About Us – A Brief History

The business started life as an Auckland based company Network Shipping in 1988. The name was changed to Network International Freight some ten years later, to better reflect the wider spectrum of services we offer.

Over the years we have built strong relationships with like-minded overseas agents in most major trading areas. The key features in our choice of partners have been service and stability; to ensure a continuing level of reliability and expertise in the forwarding services we offer to our growing client base.

In recent years we have added partners in Melbourne, Sydney and Christchurch offices to our Network, putting into practice our philosophy that the freight business is better serviced with a local presence.
